For her graduate project, Lauryn will be investigating the impact of SD on the cellular mechanisms of memory.

Outside the lab, Lauryn enjoys “escaping to the mountains for some fly fishing and backpacking/camping trips. Hunting for snakes (that’s Pesto on my hat),  writing poetry with my quill, dancing anywhere and everywhere (including the lab, parking lots, my house etc.), cooking a new meal completely from scratch, and making strangers/people smile and laugh”.
